Sharon den Adel atau lengkapnya Sharon Janny den Adel lahir di Waddinxveen, Belanda. Vokalis cantik ini juga penulis lagu2 yang dibawakan oleh grup musik aliran symphonic metal/rock Within Temptation.

Sejak usia 13 tahun dia telah terjun didunia musik dengan bergabung pada beberap grup band sebelum akhirnya bergabung dengan Robert Westerhold dari Within Temtation.
